What are Data Storage Units?

A single bit is the value of 1 or 0.
A byte is 8 bits.
A kilobyte is 1024 bytes.
A megabyte 1,024 kilobytes or 1,048,576 bytes.
A gigabyte is 1,024 megabytes or 1,048,576 kilobytes.
A terabyte is 1,024 gigabytes or 1,048,576 megabytes.
